Getting Started

Quick Start

From sign-up to hiring your first host and sending your first message.

This guide walks a brand-new agency through the core flow end to end. Each step links to the module page with the full detail.

Before you start: LiveAgentPro is sold only to businesses with a billing address in the United States or Brazil, and the person registering must be 18 or over. See Introduction for the full eligibility rule.

1. Create your agency #

Register your agency and pick a workspace name — a short slug that identifies your agency in URLs. It appears in your panel address (/app/{workspace}), your host portal (/host/{workspace}), and your public application links.

It is a path in the LiveAgentPro address, not a DNS subdomain — you are not buying or pointing a domain at this step, and nothing in your DNS needs to change. Serving the host portal from a domain you own is a separate, plan-gated feature; see Custom Domains.

Your sign-up creates the first admin user. New agencies have no subscription yet, so you land on the Subscribe page and start a trial from there — see Billing.

2. Configure your channels #

In Agency Settings, connect the tools you'll use:

  • WhatsApp Cloud API — phone number ID + access token, so you can message hosts directly. You bring your own Meta credentials. See WhatsApp.
  • Email — either Live Agent Pro's managed sending, or your own provider (Resend, Postmark, Mailgun, or SMTP). The choice matters: replies only thread back into the app on managed sending. See Agency Settings.

3. Open your application pipeline #

Create an Application Form for each platform. It starts with five standard questions; add your own, then mark it live — a form that isn't live returns "not found" to anyone who opens the link. The form's page shows the public link with a copy button and a Preview form action, so you can check what applicants see before you share it. Submissions land in your Applications queue.

4. Hire a host #

Accept an application — that promotes it to a Contact with per-platform details. Manage the full profile (notes, tasks, targets) under Contacts.

5. Get performance data in #

This is the step most agencies underestimate, so plan for it.

  • Connect the host's TikTok account if you want their audience counts pulled from TikTok — see TikTok Connections.
  • Import your diamonds, live minutes, valid days and battles by CSV. They do not arrive from either platform's API. See Documents & CSV Import, and Platform Stats for the field-by-field breakdown.
  • Bigo has no API integration; everything for Bigo is imported. See Bigo Live.

Then set up a Compensation Plan so monthly statements calculate automatically.

6. Communicate #

Reply to inbound WhatsApp and email in the Conversations Inbox, send templated campaigns to segments of your roster, and let new hires flow through an onboarding sequence.

7. Invite your team and your hosts #

Add staff with scoped roles and permissions, and invite hosts to the Host Portal so they can self-serve their stats, statements, and events.

8. Know where to get help — and how to get your data out #

Open a support ticket from inside the app — see Getting help.

Worth doing once early, so you know it's there: Settings → Export your data builds a zip of everything in your agency on demand, and keeps working even if the subscription lapses. See Exporting your data.
