Profile Photo Templates
Layered image templates hosts use to generate personalized event photos.
Profile photo templates let an agency offer branded, personalized images that hosts generate themselves.
Building a template #
Create a layered image template. The agency designs the layout; templates are rendered with GD on the server.
Host generation #
From the Host Portal, a host generates a personalized photo from an active template (for example, an event promo with their name/photo) and downloads it. When a new template becomes active, hosts can be notified.
Sub-agencies #
If your agency has sub-agencies, a template can belong to one. A sub-agency's template is offered for that sub-agency's events, and a template with no sub-agency for events that are in no sub-agency; the event decides, not the host. Templates made before this belong to the whole agency, so they aren't offered for a sub-agency's events: a sub-agency that wants templates for its events makes its own. An event in a deleted sub-agency counts as in none, and a deleted sub-agency's templates are offered for no event.
When a template becomes active, the notice goes to hosts with an event in the next two weeks that it is offered for.
In Photo Templates, people attached to a sub-agency see, manage and preview only their own sub-agency's templates; the whole agency's are there only for those who work across the whole agency.
Storage #
Generated images are stored in agency-scoped media, and the agency's storage usage is tracked.
